Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a service?
You can schedule your first service through our Contact page, or send a text or call at (585)-504-8676. Prefer email? Reach out to isa@sharties.co
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept Venmo, Cashapp, cash and check. We can also set up automatic recurring payments to your card if you’re looking into a subscription plan.
How far in advance do I have to book overnight pet sitting services?
For all services that are longer than one night, we require that you book with us at least one week in advance. This allows us to have enough time to meet you, your pet(s), and schedule accordingly to make sure that we’re available to cater to your companion’s routine.
What if I have to cancel?
Simply contact us as soon as you can to let us know your plans have changed. If cancellations occur within 24 hours of the scheduled service, we charge a $10 cancellation fee.
Can I skip or add on a service?
Yes! There are no contracts or obligations–if you want to skip a week, add a service, or cancel altogether, all you have to do is contact us and we’ll make it happen. No questions asked.
What if I’m not satisfied with the service?
Your satisfaction with our work is our number one priority. If for any reason you aren’t happy with the service, give us a call and we’ll make things right.
Do you transport animals?
While we are not a pet transportation service, if you are comfortable with your dog riding in the backseat for short intervals then we can gladly take your pet from point A to B.
How do I reschedule my service?
For rescheduling, all you have to do is give us a call or fill out our contact form and we’ll pencil you in on a date that works for you.
Are walks included with overnight care?
We always make sure to include plenty of exercise and stimulation according to your pet’s specific needs and breed.
Are there animals/breeds you won’t sit for?
Unless it is an animal we don’t have any experience with (such as certain exotic animals), we are happy to care for all kinds of critters. This includes farm animals, most snakes/reptiles, birds, rodents, and of course pups and kitties!
Will you clean up after animals other than dogs?
As long as none of our staff are put at risk and we don’t have to enter/go through the home to reach the designated clean-up area, we are happy to pick up other animals’ waste. However, we do reserve the right to decline our services to anyone.
If you’re looking for cleaning services for your non-dog companion, give us a brief rundown and we will quote a potential price change and come prepared.
